Ben Westwood's extreme accessories...

If you're easily offended look away now, because with a mother like Dame Vivienne it's no surprise Ben Westwood's a bit of a fashion rebel. An erotic photographer by day, 45-year-old Ben spent much of last year protesting against the Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill by parading bound-and-gagged models in fetish clothing outside the House of Commons. Now, with Home Secretary Jacqui Smith's censorship law in line to be passed on Monday – which is set to crack down on extreme pornography and would land anyone in possession of Westwood's book F**k Fashion: The Erotic Photography Of Ben Westwood with a jail sentence – Ben is back with his latest controversial comeback: he has designed lunchboxes featuring heavily sexualised images of women. ‘It's a chance to combine the familiar and everyday with something considered by many to be offensive, obscene and disgusting,' Ben told us of his designs, which can be purchased through his website. ‘Plus it's something to talk about over lunch!' Sure is... There's a serious point to the extreme accessories too though: Ben believes the law is a form of censorship and has been passed covertly, things he's always been encouraged to take a stand on. ‘My mum doesn't believe in censorship. It makes us dishonest as people, and mum brought us up to be honest.' If lunchboxes aren't enough for you though, Ben's even thinking of launching a dinnerware set featuring his photography, as well as even a coat or two. We think his mum might help him out with that last bit...
