We don't like to say ‘we told you so', but indulge us, because this time Grazia really was bang on the money when a few weeks ago we revealed our fave new designer and name to watch, William Tempest. Well, guess what ladies, our lovely, wee 22-year-old Tempest who popped to the Grazia office to talk through his new collection (and chat about Emma Watson attending a premiere in his sheer navy frock after being front row at the show) has gone and snapped up a seriously prestigious award – meaning the fashion industry and the wider world are going to be experience WT (William Tempest) fever pretty soon! Receiving the Vauxhall Fashion Scout Merit Award means getting his own show at LFW, major opportunities to promote and develop the label, and of course, a bucketload of fashion hype. Cheshire-born William has already cemented his spot amongst the fashion elite by working with Giles Deacon and Jean Charles de Castelbajac, and Donatella Versace even cherry-picked the London College of Fashion graduate to be part of Fashion Fringe. Not bad, huh? And after revealing to Grazia that it's his dream to dress Dita Von Teese and Cate Blanchett, we can't help but feel that it will soon be the A-listers clamouring for William and not the other way around...
