The end of her New York play and her husband's Valkyrie red-carpet promotional trail has clearly brought Katie Holmes out of her casual-chic-shaped shell, because at the past two premieres she's totally upped her fashion ante. (And thank goodness; as much as we loved her lessons in denim, we were getting a little bored). In Berlin, a seriously skinny Katie was working a full-length Escada beaded maxidress, and in London's Leicester Square last night she rocked up in a 1920s flapper-style dress from the same pre-fall collection worn with Givenchy shoes and a Roger Vivier clutch. So only two questions remain for all you fashionistas out there: which gown did Mrs Cruise wear best? Oh, and how much are we loving Escada right now? It bodes well for the BAFTAs too – Escada are the official sponsors of the ceremony. Only 10 days to go...
