You, The Fashion Jury: Best Dressed from the Golden Globes

default

There's nothing quite like the first big red carpet event of the season to kick-start your Monday morning and last night's Golden Globes didn't disappoint. The Brits stormed the awards ceremony with Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire picking up a best film gong and Kate Winslet scooping two awards: best supporting actress for The Reader and leading actress for Revolutionary Road. (If you didn't stay up all night then allow yourself a diversion from work right now and check out her weepy, overwhelmed acceptance speech right here). And then of course there were the dresses. From the downright perfect (Eva Mendes in Dior, incidentally the most worn design house of the night) to the dazzling newcomers (Freida Pinto in Christian Lacroix we salute you) to the white-ruffled contingent (Sandra Bullock did us proud in Dior) and the oh-dear-god-did-you-get-dressed-in-the-dark brigade (naming no names, Renee). Check out what we thought of who wore what below and add your own comments to the You, The Fashion Jury Golden Globes special. Make them fashiontastic enough and yours could even end up printed alongside our fashion's teams assessment of the Golden Globes fashion in next Tuesday's issue of Grazia. No pressure, then!

Jennifer Lopez

Wowser! Jennifer Lopez is back to doing what she does best: showing some serious skin in an incredible Marchesa gown with jewellery by Lorraine Schwartz and Roger Vivier shoes.
