Golden Globes: who'll wear what?

09 January 2009

Awards, schmwards... We're almost more interested in who'll be wearing what at the Golden Globes in Hollywood on Sunday than who actually takes home an award. After all, we were starved of red carpet glamour by the writer's strike last year so we're expecting a big splash this weekend. Demi Moore's daughter Rumer Willis is presenting the Golden Globes and we're expecting everyone from Angelina Jolie to Blake Lively to turn up. So we've taken our three most anticipated red carpet attendees to analyse what they wore at the last Golden Globes - and what we think they'll wear on Sunday.

In 2006 Kate Winslet went for this white columned Azzarro showstopper, but the actress has recently been stepping out in daring, body-con styles by Herve Leger and Balmain. We reckon she can totally rock a figure-hugging Versace...

Angelina is a firm favourite of the Grecian look - just look at her shimmering Max Azria gown at the Critic's Choice Awards last night - and although we kind of wish she would embrace the new red carpet chic and rock a tuxedo look a la YSL, we can see her wearing this piece from the current season Marchesa collection:

Ugly Betty star America Ferrera totally smouldered last time round with an electric blue Bryan Reyes number but we think she could carry off the subtle palette of any of Giambattista Valli's gorgeous creations (this one is so our fave though...)

Check back here first thing Monday to get the full lowdown...
