Spend your lunch break with Marc Jacobs…

default

Well, sort off. After all you've already ogled the latest Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse collection in this week's issue of Grazia (if not, get thee to a newsagents like now!) and you've got just over a week before the Speedy bag et al hit stores (15 Jan, btw), so why not while away a few minutes listening to Marc Jacobs himself explain how the collection came about. ‘I had this idea to deface the monogram and I wanted to do that with graffiti, which to me was also a defiant act, a rebellious act, an anarchic act, but also something that creates a new surface and a new meaning with something old,' he explains - whilst wearing a skort, we should point out. ‘I thought whose hand could I turn to and whose graffiti would mean something to me. So I went back to Stephen.' As if hearing from Marc himself wasn't enough on the genius website www.welovesprouse.com you can also watch iconic stylist Patricia Fields and Debbie Harry talk fashion and ‘scrawl the wall' with your messages for Marc Jacobs and Stephen Sprouse. Be nice, now!
