First London Fashion Week party announced

default

Get ready to make a mark in that fresh Smythson 2009 Fashion Diary: the first London Fashion Week party has just been announced. Sarah Brown is hosting a circus-themed bash at Downing Street in February, where British Fashion Council vice-chairman Erin O'Connor is expected to take to the catwalk alongside other top models from the past 25 years. As well as celebrating British fashion, the party will raise funds for the White Ribbon Alliance, a charity which works to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for women around the globe and that Sarah Brown is patron of. And judging by what happened at the last fashion bash Sarah hosted - where Julien Macdonald's parents crashed Number 10 with their bus-pass and Gareth Pugh got told off for taking pictures in the Cabinet Rooms - we're making an early prediction that it'll be the highlight of London Fashion Week again.
