Ah, the new year honours list. Loads of sports stars that we have never heard of are up for knighthoods, and a smattering of actors are getting recognised for, well...acting. But more importantly (to us anyway, maybe not to those who were glued to the Olympics all summer), there have been some well deserved fashion honours too. Bag-designer extraordinaire Anya Hindmarch will be awarded with an MBE, while Hilary Riva, the Chief Executive of the British Fashion Council will receive an OBE - the perfect way for her to kick off the 25th anniversary of the BFC which they will be celebrating all year!
