When Diana Vickers - aka the X Factor contestant most loved by the fashion pack - got booted off the series we knew we needed to get her into Grazia HQ for a make-over. Forgot those Kate Moss for Topshop togs, we asked Sam Ranger, ex fashion editor of style bible Pop and current sidekick of Henry Holland, to give Diana the fashion X Factor. Out came Acne dresses, Louise Gray accessories, Avsh Alom Gur jackets and some fierce Atalanta Weller for House of Holland shoes. Diana practically squealed with excitement. She confessed she'd found her style at 11, copying her sister when she began backcombing her hair. It's ‘a bit vintage, a bit boho, a bit grunge' and her style icons are Sienna Miller, the Olsen twins and of course Agyness Deyn. So you can imagine how mental Cheryl's protégée went when Henry Holland popped by to see how the shoot was going. A fellow Blackburnian, Henry's sister goes to Diana's school and one of her friends is now working for the East London designer. To see the full results of the shoot pick up this week's Grazia out today. The oh-so different hair and make-up by Martin Carter using Max Factor and Label M are worth checking it out alone... Oh, and we couldn't leave you without a little video clip. Here's Diana greeting Henry - and laughing about that moment Eoghan clambered on stage as Diana sang her last X Factor song. What else?
