Cheryl’s Julien Macdonald moment

As promised Cheryl Cole went full length and super-glam for X Factor Final night - with a silver cut-away gown by one of her favourite designers Julien Macdonald. The judge had apparently decided on the S/S '09 dress months ago at the very start of her X Factor experience but kept her choice a secret with only her stylist Victoria Adcock and hair and make-up team aware of what she'd been wearing. Worn with simple hair and paired down make-up - thank Simon Cowell she's finally seen the light and ditched the pink lippie - it was a fitting end to a series that has seen Cheryl's fashion status sore. She's proved her fashion credentials by wearing new up-and-coming names in fashion such as Kristian Aadnevik as well as impressing Matthew Williamson in two of the Brit designers dresses: ‘Cheryl's a brilliant girl. She looked amazing on X Factor in my apricot cocktail dress. We spent a day together and tried on everything in my London store - and looked fabulous in it all!' Blimey, then even Kate Moss turned up to support Cheryl's finalist Alexandra. So are the rumours that Kate's going to put in a good word with ‘Uncle Phil to try to get Cheryl her own collection at Topshop? Here's hoping. In the meantime, check out and rate all Cheryl's dresses from the X Factor series below.
