Amber Le Bon: a new breed of supermodel!

Her mum is model royalty, her dad sang the soundtrack of the eighties, but this is one fame spawn that hasn't been pictured falling into cabs or out of her t-shirts. In the S/S ‘09 River Island campaign, there's no mistaking the model's sharp cheekbones, the glossy dark locks, the long limbs, real woman curves and even the heavy brows. Amber Le Bon, the 18 year-old daughter of the ageless and ever-gorgeous Yasmin, has inherited her mum's looks (lucky girl) and is now embarking on her own modelling career. Signed to Models1 - which also has mum on their books - River Island chose Amber to front their ads for her "real girl" looks and down-to-earth personality. But the jaunt into modelling might be a short one, as Amber, much to her parents delight, insists she's going to university. Clever and beautiful? She can probably sing too...
