Topshop reveal New Generation Designers

What better Christmas present can young British designers ask for than a nice pot of money? Thanks then to the generous Santa at Topshop who has granted the wish of eight talented fashion creatives, and awarded them with the coveted New Generation sponsorship money. Danielle Scutt, House of Holland, Louise Goldin, Mark Fast, Mary Katrantzou, Meadham Kirchhoff, Peter Pilotto and Nasir Mazhar will all be breaking out the mulled wine tonight in celebration of the funding for their AW 09/10 catwalk collections during London Fashion Week in February. For some of them it is their third LFW outing, but for others this is the first time their wares will be seen on the international schedule. We are particularly excited to see what newcomer Mary Katrantzou does with the cash, after her printed dresses and massive, over-sized jewellery caught the attention of every buyer in the world (seriously!) with her St Martins graduation collection. We've only got to wait ‘til February...!
