Well apparently we have Marc Jacob's BlackBerry to thank. ‘I just blurted out, "I think we should do Madonna,"' Marc Jacobs revealed today. He'd been to see the pop icon on tour in Paris the night before. ‘I was totally just blown away by it, and moved by her performance, by what she had to say, and her energy.' So he decided to make it happen and tip-tapped a message to Madge on his BlackBerry. Within five minutes she'd replied: ‘I'd love to.' And aren't we glad she did. The singer's super-fitness came in handy for the day-long shoot, which saw her leg extended straight up. As for the fishnets? All Madonna's idea![WWD]
