Brit model of the moment Jourdan Dunn, 18, shot into the fashion stratosphere barely a year ago - and now has crowned a stellar year by winning Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards. The story goes that she was discovered in Primark by Storm Model Management whilst larking around with a pal trying on sunglasses. As the first black model to walk for Prada in 10 years for AW08 she grabbed many a headline whilst race replaced weight as the issue of fashion week. She has since been a cover girl for i-D, Pop, British Vogue and snapped up the covetable position of cover for the Vogue Italia Black issue earlier this Summer. She even received standing ovations at her shows in Paris - it's no wonder when you check out her perfectly sculpted face and endless legs! Dubbed the New Naomi Campbell - Dunn, a west London teenager has also been the face of Gap and Topshop for AW08 . Although fully embracing modelling, Jourdan would like to study Business when she goes back to education, so that she can set up a modelling agency to promote different races.
