Gucci’s star-studded affair…

default

Last night Gucci designer Frida Giannini hosted a star-studded event in New York City alongside RnB star Rihanna - the face of this year's Gucci Campaign to benefit UNICEF. A-listers including Madonna, Blake Lively and model Erin Wasson gathered for the annual lighting of the historic UNICEF snowflake at the Grand Army Plaza and for a special performance by singer NeYo. The Tattoo Heart collection, made up of handbags, shoes and other cute accessories features the most iconic Gucci symbols (the horse bit and heart dontcha know), which are according to the designer herself ‘are a permanent mark that you can wear with pride and that stays with you...and represents very well what we are doing here'. She went onto say ‘This is not a one-off program but rather an on-going commitment top the incredible work that UNICEF is able to achieve.' The project that has been running since 2005 has so far raised a whopping five million dollars to help suffering children in sub-Saharan Africa. So if you've started writing up your Christmas list, then why not go for a tattoo scarf or key ring or treat yourself with one of the super-cool Tattoo handbags and help an extremely good cause. Check out who wore what (oh ok, it was all Gucci) below.
