Stephen Jones wins big at the British Fashion Awards

default

We're delighted to announce this morning that Grazia is the official media partner of the British Fashion Council's 2008 British Fashion Awards, sponsored by Swarovski, which take place next Tuesday. But we are even more delighted to be able to announce the winner of the BFA's Outstanding Achievement Award a whole week early! The award goes to Stephen Jones, without doubt the most talented milliner in the world. In his 28-year career, he has created iconic hats for everyone from Galliano to Princess Diana, Kylie Minogue to Dita Von Teese. By accepting the award, he joins the ranks of fashion icons including Vivienne Westwood and Suzy Menkes. Check out next week's Grazia for a Stephen Jones special and clear a space in your diary for Tuesday 25th November because we'll be there blogging live from the British Fashion Awards to bring you fashion literally as it happens here on GraziaDaily. You'll find out which of fashion's big names - everyone from Agyness Deyn, Jonathan Kelsey, Stella McCartney, Pat McGrath and more - will join Stephen as winners at the British Fashion Awards before anyone else. Oh, and get a glimpse of the glamorous (and insane) goings-on backstage!
