Alexander McQueen to design line for discount store

As if Commes Des Garcon hitting H&M next Thursday wasn't enough to whet the high-end-goes-cheap fashion slut in us, news now reaches us that Alexander McQueen will be designing a line for US discount store Target. The British designer will base his collection on his McQ line - so we're expecting lots of sharp tailoring, skull-prints and black. Of course currently it looks like only Americans will be able to get a piece of McQueen but then again it was Patricia Fields Target line that M&S picked up to roll out in the UK last month, so here's hoping someone else might do the same. Until then, there's always eBay...
