It's been a blast. We've seen some fantastic movies (Slumdog Millionaire deserves a special mention) but The Times 52nd London BFI Film Festival finally came to an end last night, ending a run of red carpet glamour that perhaps the British TV stars should study. Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow rocked the red carpet in flat gladiator sandals after a knee injury, Anne Hathaway opted for American designer Zac Posen, Eva Green went classic in McQueen, Thandie Newton did flirty in Philip Lim.
