The Hills star Lauren Conrad didn't quite make the impression she was hoping for at her second catwalk show since launching her collection earlier this year. It wasn't so much the inoffensive yet predictable SS09 collection, but the hour guests spent queuing to get into the LA Fashion Week Smash Box Studios venue. Fashion reporters, used to having to wait for a show, were however unimpressed with having to stand alongside a huge rubbish skip and amidst crowds of The Hills fans. To add insult to injury there wasn't a fashion A-lister (or even BB and The Hills co-star Audrina Partridge) in sight! Oh well, better luck next time, Lauren but a word of advice -designer heels and rubbish bins just don't mix! [The Cut]
