(OK we knew that but, in the style-free zone that is British Politics, it's been a while coming!) While Gordon Brown and David Cameron slug it out at their party conferences, it's their wives who've been making headlines of their own... for their conference wardrobes. Last week in Manchester, Sarah Brown did quiet elegance in a Graeme Black top and pencil skirt, while this week Sam Cam has been rocking some seriously chic jackets, skirts and dresses in Birmingham. To be fair, as creative director of Smythson (and the brains behind one of this season's most lustworthy bags, the Maze) Sam is ‘in the business', but what we're loving is the fact she hasn't dipped into the designer pot wholesale. Instead, she is artfully mixing both designer and high street - to great effect. Witness the fabulous green 3.1 Phillip Lim dress with red Zara heels, the turquoise Reiss blouse and red Joseph blazer, and a smattering of high street must-haves, from the likes of Jigsaw and LK Bennett. But does she get your fashion vote? Rate her looks below and let us know what you think!
