This week Grazia reported on Alexander McQueen's online pre-spring catwalk show in collaboration with net-a-porter. Well, yesterday those conceptual and slightly bonkers Dutch designers Viktor & Rolf went one better! While the rest of Paris fashion week is taking place in real life and real time, the design duo allowed the whole world to pull up a ringside seat for their S/S ‘09 show with a first-of-its kind virtual runway presentation featuring 1990's supermodel Shalom Harlow. Yep, in two and a half days Shalom walked the runway in 21 outfits - all inspired by computer pixelation - and it added up to an amusing show where Shalom passes herself on the runway and a dozen Shalom's clap the designers at the end of the show before exploding off into thousands of pixels! Genius.
