We really felt for young American model Katie Fogarty. She started wobbling around on her amazingly vertiginous high heels as soon as she first appeared on the Prada catwalk last night. We studied the shoes: wooden platforms with a silver snakeskin strap. You could feel the tension in the audience as she almost shook with concentration and then half way down the catwalk she started to tumble. Her fall seemed to last forever as FROW fashionistas held their arms out to break her fall. But ever elegant, Katie managed to pick herself up and carry on walking. The audience cheered; partly to encourage, partly out of relief. Then Yulia Kharlaponova fell too. It wasn't pretty. Mind you the shoes were. Does that make it worth the fashion injury? Perhaps not but then again falling at Vivienne Westwood didn't do Naomi Campbell's career any harm.
