With a new season, comes hot new models, but there's one girl, her name is Amanda Laine, who has captured our gaze - BIG time! And it's no surprise when this rising star (who won V Magazine/Supreme agency V A Model competition earlier this year) has already walked in over twenty shows since the fashion weeks began in NY, holding the prime position  as Paul Smith's first model on the runway for SS09 as well as being cast for top names such as Luella, 3.1 Philip Lim, Marc Jacobs and Rodarte just to name a few.  With her Modigliani-esque face, thick eyebrows and mane of ultra dark brown hair, not to mention her striking resemblance to Jennifer Connolley, Amanda is riveting. She's in London accompanied by her mother Laurie, and fitting in fashion shoots for Numero and V magazine with her London runway exits. We're certain she got  plenty of other great runways to rock in Paris and Milan considering she walked for Balenciaga, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton and Alexander Wang last season... not bad for 16 year old!
