How's this for fashion-tastic! At Sarah Brown's reception to celebrate 25 years of British Fashion Week last night, designer Julien Macdonald managed to sneak his mum and dad, Joan and Glyn, into Downing Street. The couple blagged their way into the event by showing security their OAP bus passes! The couple had travelled down from their Welsh hometown Merthyr Tydfil to see their son's show. They told us they'd only expected to nip out for ‘half an hour' because they didn't think they'd get in! Julien - who was toting a Union Jack flag all night that he even tried to wrap around Sarah Brown at one point - told us with his arms around them, ‘Above everything else, it's just all about family...' Bless!
Julien Macdonald's parents gatecrash Number 10!
