Naomi Campbell's Fashion for Relief catwalk show has become a big-ticket event at London Fashion Week. Last year, everyone from Jade Jagger to Christian Slater appeared on the catwalk. But this year's set to be even more special. At the launch today, Naomi's people hinted that a 'big British institution' would be appearing. So when we spoke to Naomi, we naturally wanted to know who it was. And it looks like it could be a certain Mrs Beckham! ‘I would love Victoria Beckham to walk in her own designs,' Naomi told us. 'She's showing her collection of dresses to journalists in New York this week and I'd love to see her show them for me in London too. If her husband's soccer schedule permits it I would want him too.' The Beckhams on the catwalk, together? We'd want front row seats for that. Remember where you read it first!
Naomi also revealed the truth behind her being rushed into hospital in Brazil earlier this year. It was reported at the time she had a cyst on her ovaries and today she told us she'd been told by doctors she couldn't have children. The supermodel underwent an operation and doctors now believe she will be able to conceive. ‘Even though I'm 38 I would still love to have children,' she admitted.
Fashion for Relief (Sept 17) is open to the public and tickets are on sale now. All profits from Fashion for Relief will be donated to Sarah Brown's charity, The White Ribbon Alliance, which will be used directly to promote and increase awareness of the need to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for women and newborns in developed and developing countries.
