It’s officially autumn…

default

Right, ladies, we're officially declaring today  ‘Bring Back Tights Day'. We've held out for as long as we could but, with all those hurricane-like winds and driving rain, it's time to admit summer's officially over and wear our opaques again. But you know what? We're actually OK about it - because we love this season's thick/coloured/patterned tights (and stockings). And it seems we're not alone. We've just heard from genius hosiery website www.tightsplease.co.uk that shoppers snapped up a record number of 60 denier tights in August, shunning the normal, much thinner seven deniers. Hmmmm... Who would have thought that hosiery could rouse such excitement when there are far more glamorous things like Chloé handbags and Lanvin dresses to lust over in our fashion cupboard? Believe us, to reach true hosiery heaven, get yourself a pair of Chanel's two-tone leg lengtheners or Rodarte's gothic cobweb creations. They're tights, ladies, but not as we know them...
