1. When Victoria Beckham didn't mind wearing the same dress as somone else...

...and it that someone else was a supermodel. Yes that's right, queen of New York Fashion Week VB went matchy matchy with model Hollie-May Saker at the reveal of her Victoria Victoria Beckham collection. Is she trying to tell us that fashion twins are in for Spring Summer 2014?

2. When Tyra Banks dressed up as Cara Delevingne

We've seen plenty of wannabe Delevingners in our time, but we'd never imagined that one of them would be Tyra Banks. The supermodel revealed her new look in an instagram photo to promote #Tyra15, a project in which she dressed up as 15 iconic faces in the fashion industry, including Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford.

3. When Suki Waterhouse and Ireland Baldwin looked like this

The blonde stars sat front row at DSquared2 where they embodied the rule 'the higher the hair the closer to Jesus'. When you've got a bigger bouffant than the models on the runway that's just weird.

4. When FEMEN stormed the catwalk

The FROWers at Nina Ricci's Spring Summer 2014 presentation at Paris Fashion Week probably didn't know what hit them when Ukrainian feminist protest group FEMEN marched onto the runway. Then again FEMEN probably didn't know what hit them either as model Hollie-May Saker (her again) [a href="/fashion/news/from-punching-a-femen-protestor-at-nina-ricci-to-hanging-out-with-cara-delevingne--who-is-model-holl">claims she punched one of the women[/a] "square on the nose".

5. When we realised Harry Styles was the FROW King

Sorry Alexa Chung, there's a new star FROWer in town, and it's only bleedin' Harry Styles from One Direction. [a href="/fashion-week/london/harry-styles-best-frowments">The unlikely lad[/a] followed bessie Nick Grimshaw to Henry Holland before striking out on his own at Burberry and charming Sienna Miller in the process. Not bad Hazza!

6. When a bunch of fashionistas got stuck in a lift

Following the Philosophy by Natalie Ratabesi show in New York a freight elevator transporting a bunch of fashion's finest came to a standstill between floors trapping the editors in the process. Cue fashion pandemonium and a flurry of street style snappers arriving to get the best shots before a fire truck was called to the scene.

7. When Lily Cole did an interpretative dance

We barely recognised supermodel Lily Cole when she danced rather than walked on the runway at Vivienne Westwood's Red Label show at London Fashion Week. Wearing a Grecian gown by the fashion designer she stood in a pool of red light before performing choreography to present an environmental message.

8. When a toddler beat the Fash Pack to a trend

Getting in there before [a href="/fashion/news/rihanna-takes-style-tips-from-aila-wang">Rihanna had a chance to say 'me please'[/a], Alexander Wang's cute show-stealer niece Aila wore her designer uncle's 'Parental Advisory' slogan collection [a href="/fashion-week/new-york/kids-on-the-frow--aila-wang-is-the-first-to-wear-alexander-wang-explicit-content">fresh off the runway[/a] - teamed with a mini Balenciaga Rocco bag, natch.

9. When Nicole Kidman was (literally) fashion road kill

When Carrie Bradshaw says she's 'fashion road kill' she means she was stepped over by a supermodel, when it happened to Nicole Kidman outside the Calvin Klein show earlier this month she was actually knocked down by a cyclist. After being helped up by companions Kidman was reportedly treated for minor injuries. The drama!

10. When Rick Owens championed fierce beauty

Designer Rick Owens invited four different American step teams to Paris to help him present his Spring Summer 2014 collection. None of the ladies resembled the typical tall and svelte physique of your average Super, but beating their chests and stamping and clapping in time to the music they put on quite a show.

Well that flew by! Fashion Month may not be over just yet, but we don't want to forget all of the amazing things that have taken place across the four fashion capitals this September. While our initial shock at not seeing Cara Delevingne on every runway going in New York receded when the model began to pop up on the runway in London and Milan, there were plenty of other talking points.

Take for instance when a group of fashion editors, including Teen Vogue's Amy Astley, found themselves stuck in a lift after leaving the Philosophy show in the Big Apple. While at the time we can imagine the situation was far from funny, the incident does through up jokes concerning how many FROWers you can fit in an elevator - not many evidently, particularly when they're all accessorised to the max.

Meanwhile over in London one of the biggest puzzlers was the appearance of Harry Styles at all the major fashion events. It wasn't so much that we didn't understand why Harry was there - uh, how about beautiful women parading in front of his face for starters - but more the fact that he stole all the attention away from veteran front row fashionistas like Alexa Chung and Daisy Lowe.
