Wendy's NYFW Beauty Kit

We’re going to let you in on a little secret, girls- when it comes to our beauty crushes, make-up artist extraordinaire Wendy Rowe is very high on our list and is a total Grazia fave. What’s more, as well as creating some of the hottest make-up looks around, the gorgeous Wendy also does the Burberry shows every season, so we reckon this lovely lady knows a thing or two about backstage beauty…

Make-up artist Wendy has worked on the Burberry shows for over a decade (beauty guru indeed), as well as working with Christopher Bailey on the brand’s amazing make-up range, so we couldn’t wait to have a look at what Ms Rowe has in her backstage beauty kit. Read on and learn ladies…

Bobbi Brown Pro Concealer Palette: This thing is genius. I could quite literally do anyone’s face and cover any scar or bruise with this beauty.

Wendy’s personalised cheek palette, £Priceless: I put together this palette myself because I wanted to try and reduce the weight and space of beauty products that I carried whilst travelling. There is such a wide range of colours here that I have everything in need to sculpt or blush to my heart’s content.  Plus the crème blushers can be used as lipsticks too.

Burberry Sheer Concealer, £26: This is quite possibly the perfect concealer- it’s lightweight but still heavy enough to conceal and never turns cakey and it doubles up as a highlighter too.

Elizabeth Arden Smoky Eyes Powder Pencils, £16 : Because these clever pencils are actually powder they just don’t move. The brown version is super chocolate and a backstage hero for me.

Bioderma Ultra Mild Face and Eye Cleanser, from £4.50: This is a makeup artist favourite and you will find it in every backstage area due to its impressive results on even the most sensitive skin.

Burberry Fresh Glow, £34:  I mix this with whatever foundation that I am applying to my models for the best luminous skin around.

Bobbi Brown No Smudge Mascara, £19: I need super black, glossy mascaras that don’t drop and this is exactly that!

Crème De La Mer The Moisturising Lotion, £165: When I am working backstage I require skincare products that work for everyone and never react on sensitive skin.  I use this as cream base because it is the most reliable all-rounder about.

Dior Instant Eyemakeup Remover, £21: This is a make-up removing must when you are working with waterproof products.
