On Friday night Karlie Kloss was named model of the year for social media at the Fashion Media Awards. In her acceptance speech Karlie said 'I am receiving this for social media which I find incredibly ironic because I think I am terrible at Instagram and social stuff. My big sister is actually really the one responsible and helps me with it more than I'm willing to admit to.'
Well we disagree Karls as your Instagram this season is already award-worthy. So far she has posted snaps behind-the-scenes at Jason Wu where she walked the runway in a show-stopping gown. She also is the proud owner of our favourite snap of fashion week so far; the Instagram of Bill Cunningham taking her picture during Wu. As Karlie says a Bill NY shot 'is the only shot that counts.'
Fashion week isn't just about walking for Karlie, as she also keeps the fash pack happy with her fashionably wholesome snacks - Karlie's Kookies. Her Instagram page has been flooded with the gluten-free cookies, as she made a batch of birthday cookies for DKNY who celebrated their 25th anniversary. Be a love and send a box over to Grazia Towers will you Karlie?
Karlie also shared her fashion week essentials - a Starbucks, a copy of the Wall Street Journal and an oversized Jason Wu bag. Karlie has also been re-united with her BFF Jourdan Dunn and posted an adorable PDA snap of Jourlie on the move between shows.
Karlie looked like a goddess in a white Alaïa cut-out mini at yesterday's awards ceremony. She is so social media savvy, that she quickly regrammed the snap we took of her at the awards last night. Karlie explained why she is such a big InstaFAN in her speech as she said: 'As a model I don't usually have the opportunity to have a voice and social media offers that opportunity to say how I feel. It's an incredible time to be a model and be in this industry.' It was a good night for Team Grazia as our editor Jane Bruton also won big as she was presented the International Editor gong by none other than Marc Jacobs.
