Fashion Week isn't just about the hot new trends being unveiled on the runway, as the streets of Milan are packed with style eye candy. Milan Fashion Week is editor Anna Dello Russo's fashion playground, and she's been running aroudn the streets of Milano in bonkers accessories and skyscraper heels (natch).
She got the flashbulbs going in a gold leather dress with Diamante heels and a pink metallic bow clutch. So what are the rest of the fash pack championing in Milano? We have spotted lots of matchy-matchy prints with last season's hugely popular Prada florals making a frequent appearance.
Stealth wealth, a trend that emerged on the streets of London, has translated well overseas. Think patent pink pencil skirts paired with clean cut shirts. The New York trend, for getting to and from shows on a bicycle (Victoria Beckham is a secret cyclist?!) continued with many Manolo-clad fashionistas working a push bike.
Micro Trend: Ear Cuffs At Milan Fashion Week [Jason Lloyd Evans]
As fashion magpies, we have been keeping our eyes on the accessories. The Milan fash pack sure are letting their accessories do the talking with decorative winged Prada heels and Fendi Bag Bugs at the top of our chart of lust. There was definitely a micro trend appearing in the form of ear cuffs, with many a model opting to embellish their ears. Perhaps inspired by the stars getting cuffed at the Met Ball?
