London Fashion Week is well and truly in full swing and the street style has definitely not let us down so far. As is the case now, the outfits of fashion week attendees are almost as eagerly anticipated as the shows themselves, and one of the crucial places to identify up-and-coming trends. Even the dire weather will not get in our way of snaping some style!
With stealth wealth, the art of careful spending to create a richer look (think pared down silhouettes and simple colour palettes) one of the trends to follow this Autumn/Winter it’s not surprising to see so many pared down looks. The founder of Creators of Desire, Anouk Bos was seen on day two in a navy short sleeved Carin Westor coat, and she let the clean cut lines of the coat do all the talking. Another savvy style maven opting for stealth style was Photographer’s agent, Caitlin Curran, who teamed her grey acne woollen coat with a simple polo neck with a bit of leather injection courtesy of a ASOS skirt.

London is however well known for its free flowing fashions, where pieces are brought together in unexpected ways. So for every stealth look there will always be a multitude of less subtle style statements. Take for instance blogger, Olivia Harrison who took her leather look to a grungy place with the injection of a checked shirt tied around an already well layered look. And of course no London Fashion Week would be complete without an appearance from Susie Bubble. Her look for day one placed vintage Asian prints against bold flashes of orange and a veiled Berkstock and Spiers hat.
As the five day extravaganza that is London Fashion Week continues we can only expect to see more clothing concoctions to whet the appetite.
