VIDEO: In The Studio With Giles Deacon

As part of our #Grazia360 extravanganza, we're taking you on an all-angles tour of fashion weeks around the world with everything from FROW chats to backstage snaps. For the London shenanigans, we teamed up with the brilliant Giles Deacon who gave us an all-access pass into his world.

Just two weeks before his creations hit the catwalk, we popped into the designer's studio (get the tour here) to see how the latest collection came together. Mr Deacon dishes on his design inspirations, from Instagram to bats, and having one foot in a sex shop. 'I like to watch natural history documentaries and I saw a really wonderful one on bat swarms. It led to creating hanging bat head pieces with Stephen Jones,' he explains.

Giles also chatted about the importance of casting - we all know he likes to bring a bit of diversity to London Fashion Week. 'Edie Campbell is really interesting and she’s incredibly bright,' he says. 'On the opposite extreme, you have Cara [Delevingne] who’s having an absolute ball and good luck to her because she works incredibly hard.'

On Monday night, we saw Giles' plans come to life with a magnificent Spring Summer 2014 show. So how did he feel after all that hard work? 'I'm absolutley thrilled, it's been fantastic,' the man himself said when we saw him backstage. 'I can't wait to get down the pub with my mates. See you down there!' Cheers to that, GD.
