Undoubtedly one of the biggest shows on the London Fashion Week calendar is Burberry Prorsum. The A-list action kicked off at 2.30pm (UK time) today when the glitzy guests arrived at London's Hyde Park, taking their places on the FROW, ready for the catwalk to begin. We were mega excited!
Burberry used iPhone 5s to capture the runway extravaganza this season. Yes, the Brit brand teamed up with none other than Apple to share snaps and video before, during AND after the show. 'This collaboration celebrates our relationship and shared foundation in design and craftsmanship,' says Christopher Bailey, Burberry Chief Creative Officer. 'We have a mutual passion for creating beautiful products and unlocking emotive experiences through technology, which has made it intensely exciting to explore the capabilities of iPhone 5s. We’re inspired by what this could mean for the future as we continue to explore the merging of physical and digital experiences.'
Speaking of which, yours truly was once again on the red carpet, bringing you pictures and quotes from the attendees. Burberry has seen the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristen Stewart and Emma Watson grace the front row in the past, and today there were appearances by none other than Alexa Chung, Poppy Delevingne and Harry Styles - all there to cheer on Burbs star Cara Delevingne no doubt.
