#Grazia360: Alexa Chung Is Too Busy Doing Her Day Job To Write Another Book (Yet)

#Grazia360 Alexa Chung Interview London Fashion Week

'Your shoes are lovely! Where are they from?' These are the immortal words every fashionista wants to hear - and when they come from style-setter Alexa Chung, it's even better. Yes, Grazia Daily bumped into Chungers at the House of Holland show earlier today where she was looking as fash-tastic as ever in a Marios Schwab frock with patent black panel while we were high-street-ing it up in our Zara heels. 'Well, they're very nice,' she affirmed. Score!

The last time we saw Alexa she was launching her marvellous book, It Girl. 'People seem to be buying it and the girls who came to the signings were really amazing and that’s all that matters really,' she said of the book's reception. As for the best fan reaction, she says one girl was agoraphobic and only came out of the house in order to get a signed booked from Ms Chung.

Not only that, but 'there were a lot of boys who were buying the book for their girlfriends, or that’s what they said they were doing!' Perhaps that's because of a certain naked picture that appears in the book? 'That’s not me! That’s a picture from the 1970s,' Alexa giggles. 'That is not an accurate representation of what is happening in my knickers!'

So are there any more books in the pipeline? 'I don’t know... I’m pretty busy at the moment, but maybe in the future. If they’ll have me!' Of course, Alexa is busy hosting a TV show across the pond. 'Everyone thinks I don’t do anything, but actually I have a day job presenting Fuse News. I've been doing it since January.'

In fact, Alexa is such a dab hand at being on telly, that while we were chatting, she asked whether the sound would be picked up by our cameraman. Once we'd reassured her that we were indeed mic'd up, she looked visibly relieved. 'I was very concerned the whole time.' Ah, what a pro! And a very nice lady too - and we're not just saying that cos she likes our shoes.
