David Beckham and VB in those leathers, Angelina and Brad in matching tuxedos - dressing like your partner is not a new thing.

But according to New York relationship therapist Dr Laurel Steinberg, couples who dress together, stay together…

She told the Daily Beast, ‘People dress alike to alert the world that they are a couple and to communicate the strength of their commitment with greater specificity than wearing just an engagement ring or a wedding ring, which essentially could be from anyone else.’
