Stop Talking, Start Doing With Grazia's New Entrepreneurial Networking Series

Got plans... but also an A+ in procrastination? Then maybe it’s time to stop boring friends/family/anyone who’ll listen and sign up for the first of our series of Grazia’s new inspirational entrepreneurial talks on 28 October...

Stuck in a work rut? Do you have an idea for a business that you’ve been talking about for ages, but haven’t done anything about? Or do you simply have a back-of-a-napkin life-changing plan that you want to sound out to other like-minded individuals? Then why not sign up for the first of our series of entrepreneurial talks on 28 October at sketch in Central London.

The talk, ‘Stop Talking, Start Doing’, will be led by guest speaker Shaa Wasmund who has written a best-selling book of the same name. Shaa is no stranger to accolades: she was named one of the UK’s Six Most Connected Women by the Institute of Directors and one of Management Today’s ‘35 Under 35’, and has been recognised by the London Stock Exchange for her services to enterprise. She is the driving force behind Smarta, the UK’s leading support platform for business owners and entrepreneurs, which provides free advice to help get new ventures off the ground.

Shaa will lead a panel of other inspiring entrepreneurial women, all of whom will be there to lend their experience and give advice and tips.  Esteemed writer/entrepreneur Nina Grunfeld is founder of a brilliant initiative called Life Clubs, a nationwide network of fun practical workshops that are designed for you to get more out of life. Life Clubbers achieve things they never thought possible; from starting their own businesses and following new career paths to making the decision to pursue a big life-changing dream, www.lifeclubs.co.uk.

Accompanying Nina and Shaa will Louise Gimson, co-author of Making It: Female Entrepreneurs Reveal Their Secrets of Success. She believes that the reason why many women don’t take the plunge and start their own business is that they simply lack of confidence and self-belief. Her inspiring guide will help you tackle your inner mental obstacles and inspire you to get out there and succeed.

The Agenda

The evening will be informal but informative. Our high-profile panel will talk through their careers to date. This will be followed by a question-and-answer session and discussion, then an hour of networking with the panel and the Grazia team, so have your questions prepared! After the event the discussions will be summarised and emailed to each attendee.
