On 25 November we’re gathering together some of the UK’s most successful career women to share their stories, hurdles, milestones and successes, and explain how they’ve climbed the career ladder in a male-dominated business. The informal and informative talk, the second in our successful entrepreneurial series, is entitled How To Succeed In A Male Dominated Business, and will be led by an esteemed panel of guest speakers (below right) who will talk through their careers to date. The night will be followed by a question-and-answer session and an hour of networking with the panel and the Grazia team. Have your questions prepared – and book early. Tickets are selling fast!

The Panel

Advertising head Cilla Snowball is one of BBC Woman’s Hour’s 100 most powerful women. She also chairs the Advertising Association, and sits on the boards
of BBDO Worldwide, the Women’s Business Council and Comic Relief.

Niamh Corbett has been in investment banking for eight years, working with companies ranging from early-stage start-ups to global multinationals. She is on the steering committee of The 30% Club, which campaigns to increase female representation in business.

Helen Skelton shot to fame as a daredevil Blue Peter presenter. She now presents Conference league and women’s football for BT Sport, is co-presenter of BBC1’s Holiday Hit Squad and a regular contributor to BBC1’s Countryfile.

Poppy Allonby is a managing director and portfolio manager for BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager. Poppy’s team are responsible for over $6 billion of investments in oil, gas and renewable energy companies around the world.
