With the European elections later this month and general election next year, politics and voting is very much on the agenda.

Yet not for everyone.

A poll this week revealed 59 per cent of 17-21-year-olds say they won’t vote in next year’s general election.

Meanwhile, research last year showed that our tendency to move house and not register on the electoral roll was a major factor in people not voting. So, have you ever voted in a general or local election?
