Recap Of The Week: The Micro Fringe, Alexa Chung As A Child And Our New Style Crush

This week the girls of Liverpool pretended they were in Marbella at the races at Aintree, Beyonce's new advert for Pepsi was released and Kate Middleton was out and about in Scotland. But in case you've not been on top of all of the news this week, we've rounded up the top stories you might have missed, from falling for Bella Thorne to hiding our hands in our sleeves...

1. Onesies were deemed biggest fashion fail for men

We may love Cara Delevingne hopping about in a bunny onesie and lounging on the sofa in our OWN onesie, but that doesn't mean we want to see our crushes slobbing in a big babygrow. Forty per cent of women said it is the biggest turn-off trend.

2. A brand new fashion trend emerged: no hands!

Whatever SJP does, we copy. This week Sarah Jessica took a stroll in NYC with her hands hidden in a long sleeved stripe shirt. Bu-bye hands... trend alert!

3. We said a sad farewell to Charlie from Girls

Grab a tissue, this week Christopher Abbott — you know, Marnie's boyfriend in Girlsabruptly quit the show. We rounded up our favourite Charlie moments, including Marnie's rendition of Kanye's Stronger.

4. Alexa Chung shared her family photo

Want to see the Chungster before she was a breton-tee clad it Brit? This week we opened up the Chung family album, with her family shots and old school photos. We love looking at celebs before they were famous, but like most of us Alexa doesn't find revisiting her own childhood style quite as fun...

5. Hollywood taught us some wedding lessons

From My Best Friends Wedding to 27 Dresses, we rounded up the 6 things Hollywood has taught us about weddings. Including don't let the dress take centre stage like Carrie Bradshaw and don't try it on with the groom (unless you're the bride).

6. A new style crush landed on our radar

Disney Channel star Bella Thorne is our new style crush, and has been spotted on NY and LA sidewalks in bright metallics, pastel brogues and palazzo pants. We heart.

7. Team Grazia remembered our teen crushes

On Thursday Grazia's editorial team spent the best part of the morning discussing who we fancied growing up from Alex Sibley of Big Brother fame to Dawson Creek's Pacey Witter. Who was your childhood crush?

8. ...and we considered getting a micro fringe

The micro fringe style is back in style, and was seen on actress Marion Cotillard and wait for it… none other than little Suri Cruise! Anyone else tempted to reach for the scissors?

We were busy instagram-ing at Grazia HQ this week (as ever) snapping pictures of Revlon jellies, the Nike launch in Barcelona and the debut handbag line from Elizabeth and James. But our favourite insta was Georgia Hardinge's new collection for River Island [above].

Over on Grazia UK's Facebook page, 115 of you liked the Great Gatsby trailer, which is hardly surprising, considering it was the first time to listen to Beyoncé's Amy Whinehouse cover.

While over on the Twitter-sphere, 114 of you retweeted our post on @Grazia_Live about how to re-shape your eyebrows with some inspiration from Cara Delevingne.

So do tell: what was the highlight of your week?
