If you’re stuck for things to do this weekend, download Grazia on the iPad and you can book tickets, buy books and music straight from the page. Grazia iPad Edition is available for £1.99 every Tuesday from Newsstand on the App Store on iPad or at www.iTunes.com/AppStore.
1) Listen To Icona Pop’s I Love It
Remember that scene in Girls when Hannah ‘went clubbing’ and danced like a loon in a neon mesh top?! Well this was the track that was playing while she made a fool of herself. It’s currently winging its way to the top end of the chart, so get downloading!
2) See Stories We Tell
The new film from Sarah Polley’s is one of this weekend’s must-see movies. Her documentary about the secrets held at the heart of her and by extension everyone’s families is engrossing.
3) Experience A Psychic Burger
Harry Styles’ favourite East London bar is the place to go to if you want to experience the latest burger trend. Psychic Burger features ribs, fried chicken and soft crab burgers. Yum!
4) Read Sisterland
The new novel from Curtis Sittenfeld is about the broken bond between sisters. It’s as spikey, contemplative and nuanced as you’d imagine from the novelist behind Prep and American Wife.
5) Watch The East
The latest collaboration from Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij is a clever thriller about eco-terrorism and how far people would go for their beliefs. It’s edge-of-your-seat stuff with excellent performances from Alexander Skarsgard and Ellen Page.
The Hayward Gallery plays host to a selection of work from ‘outsider artists’ including Lee Godie -a homeless conceptual artist who stalked the streets of Chicago in the 80s with her flapper inspired self portraits.
