Trailer Thursday: Top 5 Film Clips Of The Week

09 May 2013 by

It's that time again when you bring you the latest and greatest snippets fresh from Hollywood as we look at the best movie trailers of the week...

1. Girl Most Likely - 26 July

We heart Kristen Wiig and the star of Bridesmaids is back with a brand new comedy. Suffering a breakdown, her character moves back in (very reluctantly) with her oh-so-dysfunctional mother who has rented her childhood room out to oh-so-cute Darren Criss (Glee's Blaine) and tries to get her life back on track. We're sensing as many cringe moments as there will be LOLs but We. Can't. Wait.

2. White House Down - 6 September

As if we needed an excuse to watch Channing Tatum in a vest top using his incredibly honed muscles and kicking butt but here's one anyway. Here he attempts to save both the President of the United States and his daughter when the White House is taken under siege. Explosive stuff.

3. The World's End - 19 July

More rescue antics as Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reunite in The World's End which sees five friends attempt to complete the pub crawl they started and failed 20 years before. Dubbed the final instalment in the Sean of the Dead/ Hot Fuzz trilogy, expect the residents of their hometown to have an other worldly feel about them...

4. The Butler - TBC

It's back to the White House in this moving drama which stars Forest Whitaker as Eugene Allen who served eight Presidents of the United States as their Butler. It's based on a true story and has a stellar cast including Oprah Winfrey, Jane Fonda, Cuba Gooding Jnr, Alan Rickman and Vanessa Redgrave.

5. Ender's Game - 25 October

Based on the book of the same name, Ender's Game is set 70 years after an alien attack and sees a gifted young boy sent to an advanced military school to prepare for a military invasion. Harrison Ford heads up the cast which includes Sir Ben Kingsley, Hailee Steinfeld, Abigail Breslin and Viola Davis.
