07 December 2012 by

1. Watch... Celeste and Jesse Forever

Written by and starring Rashida Jones (girl power!) alongside comedy genius Andy Samberg, Celeste and Jesse Forever is bittersweet viewing. Married when they were young, Celeste's career is on an upward trajectory while Jesse's is moving nowhere fast. Convinced that divorcing him now is the right thing to do, they both learn that really loving someone might actually mean letting them go.

2. Visit... Taste of Christmas

It can't have escaped your attention that it's nearly Christmas (you have just THREE shopping weekends left - eek!). If you're a bit of a foodie and want to get in the festive mood, pop down to London's Excel for Taste of Christmas. Sample seasonal menu's from the capital's top eateries, see masterclasses from top tv chefs including Jamie Oliver and Mary Berry and shop, shop, shop!

3. Watch... The X Factor FINAL!

While we're just a teensy bit disappointed that there are ZERO girls left in the running, we can't wait for one of our favourite parts of the X Factor - totes emosh contestants singing with their mentors and global superstars like Rihanna in the grand finale. Our money is on Christopher to rival Alexandra Burke's hysterical performance with Beyonce in the tears stakes with lots of giggling from Jahmene and awkward-looking-at-the-floor from James Arthur. We'll be tweeting our way to the very end. Join us, please.
Saturday, 8pm and Sunday at 7.40pm on ITV 1

4. Visit... The Clothes Show Live

Get into a fashion frenzy at The Clothes Show Live. With catwalk shows, makeovers and beauty demonstrations plus celebrity guests, including Daisy Lowe, Henry Holland and Grace Woodward. Stop at the champagne bar for some fizz and get those Christmas lists at the ready!
Until Tuesday, NEC Birmingham, [a target="_blank" href="">[/a]

5. Read... Nancy Huston's Infrared

Fancy curling up with a good book? Photographer Rena Greenblatt is stuck in Florence looking after her ailing father. Surrounded by masterpieces of the Renaissance, her own sexual history comes rushing back, forcing her to confront her painful past. Nancy Huston's Infrared is an erotic coming-of-age story - perfect for fans of Siri Hustvedt and Zoe Heller.
