If 2012 is remembered for anything it will be the as the year that we mostly spent obsessing over celebrity Twitpics. Important questions were answered like "Has she really cut her hair?" and "What do that unlikely pair do when they hang out together?" and some of the biggest (and silliest) news stories were broken. To round up an incredible 12 months of A-list image sharing we thought we'd bring you 100 of our favourite Twitpics of the year and Grazia Daily's very own Twitpic Awards...
Most Impactful Celebrity Twitpic Of 2012... Barak Obama "four more years"
The US President's election night Tweet quickly became the most popular in history and to date has had over 800k Retweets and 300k Favourites.
Runner up: Lady Gaga posted pictures of herself in her underwear to fight critics who'd targeted her supposed weight gain, which quickly inspired talk of a body revolution.
Funniest Tweeter... Cara Delevingne
It had to be didn't it? She's pulled funny faces, dressed up as animals, worn onesies and goofed around at Chanel. A true Twitpic comedy genius.
Runner up: Nick Grimshaw. The Radio 1 DJ hit his stride this year after taking over the Breakfast Show from Chris Moyles and inviting guests to join him in his photo booth.
Biggest Poser... Kim Kardashian
Sorry Kimmy, but you've been busted. There's only so much pouting and pictures of your perfect bikini-clad physique that we can take.
Runner up: Beyonce. Not half as self-obsessed, but Bey's new Tumblr has prompted plenty of self-style pics.
Transformation Queen... Miley Cyrus
First she went blonde, then she had a pixie cut, then she shaved the sides. We just can't keep up with this newly bleached Punk Princess, but she's done her best to keep us updated with all her hair changes via Twitter.
Runnner up: Lady Gaga again. If this pop star isn't experimenting with dreads, she's getting wiggy or going for the chop.
Cuttest Pet... Choupette
We've eagerly followed this cat's meteoric rise over the past year. Any pet of Karl Lagerfeld's with its own Twitter account is clearly a winner.
Runner up: Mercy Kardashian. Kim's fluffy kitty caused quite a stir as it followed in the footsteps of Choupette. Sadly Mercy died earlier this month but we'll remember her through the reality star's adorable Twitpics.
Best Designer... Stella McCartney
Whether she's at the Olympics or the British Fashion Awards, Stella is never without her trusty friend Instagram.
Runner up: Victoria Beckham has given us loads of great behind the scenes snaps this year and with an e-commerce website with social integration launching in Spring 2013 expect plenty more to come.
Wardrobe Inspiration... Alexa Chung
Not a week goes by without a new slice of style from Miss Chung and her pals. From spending Hurricane Sandy in a Barbour to her cameo role in Gossip Girl, Alexa truly is the original Twitpic fashion icon.
Runner up: Solange Knowles puts in more effort than a top fashion blogger. Her collection of eclectic prints and adorable 'mini me' son are definitely worth tuning in for.
