Going by the ostentatiousness of their wedding, we’re surprised that Kim and Kanye haven’t decided to charter a space ship to the moon for their honeymoon. A gold spaceship. Filled with roses.

Instead, they will be celebrating their first days as man in wife in Ireland, having jetted into Cork following their Italian ceremony on Sunday. Since their arrival, the internet has outdone itself, with mocked-up memes springing up left, right and centre. One shows Kim finding herself ‘posterially wedged' between two stalagmites at the Ailwee caves in County Clare, while others see them snapping up bargains in discount shops.

Here are some other suggestions of places that the couple might like to visit during their vacay…

1. Fota Wildlife Park

Being Kim K necessitates constantly having to come up with new angles on the traditional selfie. She’s posed next to boats, weird flower walls and other famous people – so why not try a giraffe, or perhaps a kangaroo?

2. University College Cork

Kanye famously describes himself as a genius – he even invented his own word, ‘architected’. Perhaps while he enjoys his romantic break he can stop by the local college and share some of his wisdom?

3. The Shandon Bells

The bell tower at St Anne’s Church lets you ring the bells to your own tune. They suggest Amazing Grace or Waltzing Matilda, but we’d like to hear Kanye tackle a new arrangement of Bound 2.

4. The English market

If there’s one thing Kim likes, it’s shopping. And now she’s not on a pre-wedding diet, perhaps she could even try some local food. Imagine!

5. Fort Camden

Kimye love a good fort. After all, they just got married in one.
