2014 Grammy Awards: Let's Relive The 10 Most Memorable Moments Of All Time

One Sunday the 56th Grammy Awards will be taking place at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles. As per it looks set to be a pretty amazing night with Beyonce and Jay Z all set to perform together, two of the Beatles (Paul and Ringo) making an appearance and Madonna, Katy Perry and Lorde all on the guest list. To get you in the mood, let's look back at some of our favourite Grammy moments of like, all time...

1. Grammys 1988

Remember 1988? No, us neither. But this performance by the late Michael Jackson from thay very year is pretty amazing huh?

2. Grammys 2001

It was one of the most talked performances of the year. Despite Eminem coming under fire for the homophobic lyrics he used on his infamous Marshall Mathers LP in 2001 Elton John decided to perform 'Stan' with him on stage at the Grammys.

3. Grammys 2002

We loved Lady Marmalade, not least because it came from the soundtrack of one of our total FAVE films - Moulin Rouge, Natch. In 2002 Christina Aguilera, Pink, Mia and Lil Kim put on a show stopping performance complete with some veryyyy risque outfits. We love, ladies!

4. Grammys 2008

Oh hey Beyonce, hey Tina! In 2008, it was ALL about these two legends performing together. Is it just us or could they be sisters?

5. Grammys 2011

Lady Gaga arrived in an egg - yep, an egg. Naturally she got some people to carry it in for her...

6. Grammys 2011

When the late Amy Winehouse couldn't make the Grammys because of VISA issues she did a special performance live from London - filming it at 3am in the morning. It paid off and she went on to win 5 awards that evening.

7. Grammys 2012

Adele won big in 2012 picking up a massive SIX awards later performing Rolling In The Deep. Our favourite bit? When she told stunned audience members that crying as she accepted her 'Album Of The Year' Award had left her with snot running out of her nose. Only Adele could get away with that.

8. Grammys 2012

2012 was also a year marred with sadness as just one day before the event took place the legendary singer Whitney Houston was found dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. LL Cool J lead the tributes to the singer with a prayer before an emotional Jennifer Hudson performed her hit song - I Will Always Love You. Spine-tingling.

9. Grammys 2013

The biggest and bestest part of the 2013 Grammys was when Jay Z and Justin Timberlake performed together. Enjoy.

10. Grammys 2000

And who can forget when Jennifer Lopez wore THAT dress. Yep, special mention goes to JLO for this Versace number. It will never be forgotten...
