Tonight the cream to British pop talent graces The O2 with their presence to celebrate the last year in music. Naturally, Grazia Daily will be there to bring you all the red carpet glamour and backstage gossip, but here’s what we hope will happen on stage...
1) Prince and Beyonce duet!
Cast your minds back to Grammy night 2004 (a DECADE ago - ouch!) when The Purple One and B performed a super-sonic, primary colour-tastic performance of Purple Rain, Baby I’m A Star, Let’s Go Crazy and Crazy In Love (there was a lot of ‘crazy’ that night). Perhaps the two could team up again tonight for a mash up- Flawless Kiss? XO Beret maybe?
2) Lorde And Disclosure Do Latch
I mean, they haven’t met each other yet but they’re set to do a joint performance tonight (how VERY modern, eh?). We’d love to hear Lorde wrap her deadpan vocals around Disclosure’s ace Latch.
3) David Bowie Wins Everything (And Performs)
Well wouldn’t that be nice? We’d love to see The Dame take his rightful place on the throne of pop and perform track from his last album The Next Day, like The Stars Are Out Tonight.
4) Pharrell Performs The 24 Hours Version Of Happy
5) John Grant And Drake Duet!
Imagine if our two favourite male miserabalists John Grant and Drake (both in the running for the Best International Male gong) performed together? It would be sort of next level amazing, right? Perhaps they could do a version of Hold On We’re Going Home with Mr.Grant doing the high bits. We’re getting Elton John/Eminem vibes just thinking about it….
