It's only a day to go until the most exciting night in the UK music calender...the 2013 Brit awards! Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Muse and *scream* One Direction are all descending on London's O2 tomorrow night for one massive party. Oh yeah, and a few awards will be dished out too.
Right now, 12,000sq metres of carpet are being rolled out to prepare for the show. They'll be 1000 people working backstage tomorrow night (we hear Taylor Swift's fringe takes a lot of maintanence) and 600 catering staff are on hand to feed the celebs and their partners/mothers/friends/managers/hangers on.
We can reveal that the guests can expect to take home a Lucky Voice Karaoke Kit, Hugo Boss Fragrance and a night in the Chewton Glen Spa in their goody bags - and at the official aftershow party they'll be 90,000 jelly beans available.
But before the excitment of tomorrow's ceremony, let's remind ourselves of some of the most memorable Brit Awards moments of yesteryear...
1. Jarvis wiggles his bum at Jacko
Arguably the most famous moment in Brit Awards history. Somehow, Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker sneaking onstage and wiggling his arse a bit during Michael Jackson's performance of Earth Song resulted in the singer being arrested on suspicion of assault (and recieving legal advice from trained lawyer Bob Mortimer from Vic 'n' Bob) and headlines such as 'Sickened, Saddened, Shocked and Angry.'
2. The Spice Girls and that Geri Halliwell dress
Spicemania was at its peak in 1997 when the Spice Girls performed their number one single Who Do You Think you Are? Wallflower Geri decided to come out of her shell by sewing a tea towel (obviously) onto her dress to turn it into one of the most iconic pop fashion moments of the 90s.
3. Adele steals the show for the right reason
Awards ceremonies aren't the best place for a performer to showcase their talent. They're basically playing to an audience that has been fed free booze for hours and is more interested in getting a photo with Kylie than watching what is actually going on. But when Adele sang Someone Like You - at the time just an album track - at the 2011 awards, the whole room fell into an awestruck silence. The song promptly went to no.1 in the charts.
4. Adele steals the show for the wrong reason
Lasy year, Adele returned to the Brits to pick up two awards, including the last award of the night for Best Album. But time was ticking, and Adele was midway through her speech when James Corden butted in to tell her Blur were waited to play. A clearly miffed Adele promtly flicked the 'V'...
5. Blur V Oasis
In 1995, Blur picked up four awards - a record at the time - while Oasis took home Best Newcomers. In a rare moment of solidarity between the two Britpop bands, Damon Albarn said he wanted to share the award for best band with Oasis. Awwww, the nation thought...
Fast forward a year....to this
6. Brandon Block V Ronnie Wood
In 2000, a *slightly tipsy* Brandon Block (think a much less well connected Calvin Harris) appeared randomly onstage as Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood was about to present an award with Thora Birch (what happened to her?). Ronnie was not amused - and threw his drink over him.
7. Justin Timberlake gets frisky with Kylie
The Brit Awards is known for bringing performers together for collobrations...Florence and Dizzee Rascal, Tom Jones and the Stereophonics, er The Klaxons and Rihanna. Our favourite was when JT and Kylie teamed up for a cover of Blondie's Rapture...and Justin basically copped a feel of Kylie's arse. She didn't look too bothered.
