Taylor Swift is on a mission to make the world a better place, one Instagram at a time. Yup, we have another Taylor Swift random act of kindness to report on. The patron saint of pop (as we like to call her), has written a 300+ word Instagram comment to a bullied fan who is starting a new school year.
"Hannahhh... Reading this made me so sad because I love seeing you in your videos and photos being so happy and wide eyed, like the world isn't as harsh and unfair as it actually is. I hate thinking about your pretty face covered in tears, but I know why you're crying because I've been in your place. This isn't a high school thing or an age thing. It's a people thing. A life thing. It doesn't stop. It doesn't end or change. People cut other people down for entertainment, amusement, out of jealousy, because of something broken inside them. Or for no reason at all.
It's just what they do, and you're a target because you live your life loudly and boldly. You're bright and joyful and so many people are cynical. They won't understand you and they won't understand me. But the only way they win is if your tears turn to stone and make you bitter like them. It's okay to ask why. It's okay to wonder how you could try so hard and still get stomped all over. Just don't let them change you or stop you from singing or dancing around to your favorite song.
You're going into high school this week and this is your chance to push the reset button on how much value you give the opinion of these kids, most of whom have NO idea who they are. I'm so proud of you and protective of you because you DO. If they don't like you for being yourself, be yourself even more.
Every time someone picks on me, I'll think of you in the hopes that every time someone picks on you, you'll think of me… and how we have this thread that connects us. Let them keep living in the darkness and we'll keep walking in the sunlight. Forever on your side, Taylor."

If you weren't already a Swifty, you're about to be. Another Taylor Swift random act of kindness video has hit the interwebs showing Taylor as one of the nicest chicks in planet pop. This time we see when the singer visited the Boston Children's Hospital to meet Jordan Nickerson, a six year old with leukemia.
The pop star surprised Jordan with a mini Taylor Swift concert in his hospital room. After talking about Spiderman and playing with Play-Doh, the pop princess picked up her guitar. Jordan asked Taylor to pick her favourite song (something she found rather tricky) - but they then settled on 'We Are Never Getting Back Together.'
Taylor said to Jordan: "I love singing songs for people, but I want to sing a song for you more than all the other people." It wasn't all singing, as they also kicked back with a game of air hockey.
We have long suspected that Tayor Swift has one of the biggest hearts in celebville. She always remembers to check up on her fans. Remember the time Swifty crashed a super fan's bridal shower?
Taylor explained in the video: 'There's this girl named Gena who's been coming to my shows for years and she's been really, really dedicated and very loyal. I was at the management office the other day and I was going through fan mail and invitations and I found this wedding invitation. I noticed I couldn't make it to the wedding but in the wedding invitation was a bridal shower invistaiton and I've neve been to a bridal shower so... we're flying to Ohio today!'
Taylor didn't turn up empty handed. She made her some chocolate chip cookies and gave Gena her secret recipe, a KitchenAid mixer, a Barefoot Contessa cookbook, and a Le Creuset pot. Oh and she also gave her a Taylor Swift original painting.
It turns out there is enough of Swifty to go around. She has a habit of writing on her fans' Instagram accounts. Of course she's there for boy advice - we're not just talking about a night in with her album Red and Mr Ben and Jerry. Here are some of our favourite Swifty Instagram comments...
1. The Taylor Swift heartbreak pep talk
2. She doesn't let auto correct get in her way
