David's tats haven't done him any harm
According to a new survey, candidates at job interviews have just eight minutes to make a successful impression. As if interviews weren't already stressful enough!
The research, by AXA insurers, found that one of the biggest turn offs for future employers, after swearing in an interview and wearing dirty or scruffy clothes, are tattoos. In fact, 27% said it gives them a negative impression of candidates.
It follows another survey earlier this month which revealed that one in six people hate their tattoos and want them removed. For half of these, the main reason was worry that their tattoos were holding them back in their career.
So, if you knew removing a tattoo would give you a better chance of landing your dream job, would you do it? We want to know, so vote now!
