It’s been revealed that in an emotional new interview with Jonathan Ross – set to air on Saturday night – Naomi Campbell broke down in tears as she revealed how anger management classes saved her life.
Naomi – whose issues with anger have been well documented – spoke out about her experiences. ‘I made anger management serious. Anger is an emotion. There were things I had to deal with. You have to deal with it.’ As Jonathan probed her she started to cry saying, ‘I'm crying, you made me cry.’ We hope he offered her a tissue!
Naomi also opened up about her previous drug use – she was addicted to cocaine for five years, quitting the drug because she realised it was ruining her life. ‘I don't want to go back. No matter what it is that you're addicted to - you can be addicted to work - all it is, is an escapism,’ she said. Adding, ‘It's escaping something, no matter what. For me, I came to my realisation at 29 that I didn't like myself the way I was, and that was it.’
Naomi finished off by saying, ‘Every day is a new day - I'm no perfect human being. I'm just living and I'm just breathing.’ Currently Naomi is fronting our new favourite show The Face where she goes head to head with Caroline Winberg and Erin O’Connor to mentor a group of models to hopefully become the winner.
